Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)

Rhinoplasty is surgery to repair or improve the nose. Mainly it is done to modify the interior (nasal septum) and improve the air passage, or abroad (bones themselves) improving the aesthetics and appearance. Sometimes both processes take place simultaneously.

A rhinoplasty is a very common procedure in plastic surgery. It is done to increase or decrease the size of the nose, change the angle of the nasal bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change nose's angle.

Currently rhinoplasty is done to return the patient's facial harmony. This means that the best results generally makes the nose look aligned with the structural features of the face. One of the main objectives of the surgeon is to produce noses that look like "non-operated".
