Breast Reduction

Breast reduction or reduction mammoplasty is a surgical procedure to reduce the size of the large breasts by removing fat, skin and breast tissue, making them smaller, lighter, and firmer. It can also reduce the size of the areola. Women with large breasts may have some problems due to the excess weight, such as back pain and neck pain, skin irritation beneath the breast and respiratory problems. The purpose of reduction mammoplasty is providing women with smaller breasts and a more proportionated to the rest of your body.

It is important to remember that after a significant reduction there will be scars which are permanent, although your plastic surgeon will strive to be noticed as little as possible. Over time, the scars will noticing less.

Your breasts will acquire the final appearance after a few months from breast reduction and your mamma will be able to change to normal hormonal stimuli, pregnancy or weight changes.
