The brachial lift, or brachioplasty, is surgery to reshape the contours of the arm and armpit. This surgical procedure reduces excess hanging skin and raises arms and tightens underlying tissues that define the shape of the arm, to perform brachioplasty the skin will look smoother and firmer.

In case there are fat deposits in the area, the procedure is combined with liposuction to eliminate or reduce them.

Brachioplasty is indicated in patients who have excess fat, those who have lost weight and mature people who do not conform to the shape of their arms by the changes that occur over time.
The procedure involves making an incision in the inner arm. The shape and location of the incision will vary depending on the amount of skin to be removed. Once the excess fat is sucked, it proceeds to tension the arm's skin and remove excess skin from the top. The incision is closed with stitches and the scar is barely visible and fade over the years.
